Working with a strict upload limit? Choose a 20KB, 50KB or 100KB target, then check the actual output size before downloading.
Supported image formats
This free image compressor accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 20 MB. Smart Optimize tries WebP when it is likely to help, keeps transparency on graphics that need it, and avoids crushing screenshots. If Auto would make a larger file, you keep the original. Choosing an Output format in Advanced always converts to that format. For a conversion-only workflow, use Convert Image.

Image compression questions
Does compression reduce quality?+
It can, if you ask for a very small target size. Smart and Balanced keep quality high. If a target cannot be reached without a serious quality drop, FusionAI says so instead of pretending the target was met.
Can I convert PNG, JPEG, or WebP?+
Yes. Open Advanced and set Output format to WebP, JPEG, or PNG. Auto keeps a format that fits the image, including transparency. JPEG cannot keep transparency. For conversion only, use Convert Image.
Is the tool free?+
Yes. You can compress images without an account and without spending FusionAI credits.
Is processing private?+
Your image is processed directly in your browser. Your image isn't uploaded to FusionAI for compression. Nothing is stored.
